Callaway County Extended Employment (CCEE) is a nonprofit extended employment organization serving Fulton, and surrounding Callaway county areas and the Mid-Missouri area since 1976. Our mission is to provide meaningful, year-round employment and vocational training for adults with disabilities while delivering reliable, cost-effective services to local businesses and organizations.

Meet Our Staff
Marla Moore
General Manager
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, raised in Montgomery County, and have proudly called Callaway County home throughout my adult life. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri State University in 1995 — back when it was still Southwest Missouri State University!
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats. I taught elementary school and worked in the insurance field, earning my licenses in Auto, Home, Health, and Life sales and service. I also spent more than 18 years as a homeschooling mom — an experience that shaped me in countless ways and taught me lessons I still use every single day.
Today, I have the privilege of serving as General Manager at CCEE. Every step of my journey has prepared me for this role, and I truly love what we do to better the lives of those we serve. It is an honor to lead this team and be part of something that makes a real difference in our community..
Katie Sheerin
Production Manager/Safety Coordinator
Born in St. Louis, MO, I moved to Fulton in 2008 and joined CCEE in 2015. I began my career there as the Safety Coordinator before advancing to Production Floor Supervisor and now serve as the Production Manager.
I am a certified Train-the-Trainer for forklift operation, hold a Class E license, and serve as a backup driver for our box truck. Safety, leadership, and team development are at the heart of what I do.
Most importantly, I love coming to work every day and seeing our team members thrive. Watching their growth and success makes the job truly rewarding.
I’m also a proud parent of four amazing kids (17, 13, 11, and 10), who keep life busy and full outside of work..
Teresa Deuel
Administrative Assistant
Born in Kansas City, KS, and raised in Boone County, I lived in Boone County until 1996 before moving to Callaway County, where I continue to call home.
I spent 30 years as a licensed cosmetologist before transitioning into insurance and banking, where I also obtained professional licensing. The diverse skills and experiences I gained throughout those years — from customer service and organization to compliance and communication — now serve me well in my role as Administrative Assistant.
I truly love what I do and feel fortunate to work alongside such a wonderful group of people every day.

Our History
CCEE began in 1976 under the name Kingdom Projects Incorporated, operating out of a small basement location in downtown Fulton. Over the years, the organization relocated several times, including a location between Fulton and Kingdom City.
In 1991, CCEE moved into its current home, a purpose-built facility located on the site of the former drive-in theater.
Throughout the decades, our workforce has supported a wide variety of projects. Many remember our years in recycling, but our work has also included bicycle repair, floral arrangements, painted flowerpots, resale operations, biodiesel production, mowing services, downtown cleanup, trash collection, and even interstate rest area maintenance east of Callaway County.
CCEE has proudly completed work for clients such as Oxley, One Canoe Two, Nasopure, Earest, Spartan Light Metals, Dollar General, Danuser, Backers, Gold Crest, and many others.
In 2016, recycling operations ended, leading some in the community to believe we had closed. In reality, CCEE continued to operate and evolve.
In 2019, following a complete staff transition, the organization reintroduced itself to the community under its current name, Callaway County Extended Employment (CCEE), with a renewed focus on identity and mission.
In 2020, we completed construction of a new commercial laundry facility, just as the COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges. Despite these obstacles, CCEE remained resilient.
Now, decades later, CCEE continues to move forward, serving the community and creating opportunities after nearly 50 years of operation.
